O primeiro Brazil Game Awards (BGA) ocorreu em 2015, com o intuito de eleger os melhores jogos que estavam na Brasil Game Show (BGS). Neste ano, a premiação brasileira de games passou a eleger os melhores games do ano em geral, não apenas aos relacionado à BGS.
